In every situation and at every moment, what counts is the ability to position search participants in real time. If a person is found alive or a rescuer needs help, the coordinator must be able to provide the coordinates of the place where other teams/services are to reach as quickly as possible.

In such moments, support comes in the form of an application that sends live items to the coordination panel, facilitating the work of teams - both in the field and in the staff.

Another aspect is the analysis of the collected data: how the area was checked and whether it needs to be searched again. Thanks to the continuity of the recording, the coordinator sees the empty spaces left in real time.

The application is free and available for the Android platform. The application requires an Internet connection and GPS. A data frame consisting of: coordinates, current time, code name, information about the SOS status, battery level and accuracy of the received signal is sent to the SiR server in a time interval of: 3 seconds.


The SOS function is used when a rescuer's life is at risk or when a person is found.

Even though the application requires an Internet connection, it is able to work offline until the GSM network signal is restored. When you reconnect to the Internet, the items that were not transferred are re-uploaded.

The application allows you to:
- track the position of other participants in real time, -
draw the route covered, -
SOS button - to notify the staff about the need for help - also visible to other participants by highlighting, turning on activates a repeating sound signal, -
preview of designated sectors,
- sending text messages with a loud notification,
- viewing the longitude and latitude, -
setting a point - the direction and remaining distance to the marker are displayed,
- setting an individual codename, -
conducting actions in secret mode,
- sending information on the current battery status,

Notes:
1.) If the application turns off/resets, it means battery optimization is turned on. Go to settings, select the SIRON application and disable battery optimization or change the application launch to manual mode by selecting: automatic launch, intermediate launch and background operation. The issue may occur depending on specific phone models.

2.) It is recommended to set a code name - do not use your name and surname. After installing the application, the codename is a unique ID.
